Back in September I had a Best Friend trip to California! Jenny and I started in San Francisco and then drove down the Pacific Coast Highway. All I can say is, if you ever have the chance to road trip down Highway 1 DO IT! It was worth every sight we saw and every song we sang! 

We started out in San Francisco. We went and saw the “Pink Ladies”. Walking around that part of town you see amazing views and lots of cool older houses. Then we went to the capital building. There were so many weddings going on! Being wedding photographers WE WERE IN HEAVEN! We just watched all these couples walk around getting their photos taking. It was an amazing sight to see. Crazy how many people get married there on a Monday! 

Also, a really cool place was Pier 39! You can see Alcatraz and so many sleeping sea lions! They are fat and so cute! 

The Next day, we went to the Golden Gate Bridge. Seeing that in person, wow, that is all I can say. It was so scary driving over it! I am not a huge fan of bridges. But it was worth definitley worth it regardless of my fear! We had ice cream with another friend of ours that lives out there now in a small town near by. It almost felt like we were not in America anymore and some cute sea side village in Italy! 

That is when we started our journey down the coast! Windows down and some good tunes on! Highway 1 has spectacular views! We ended up in Monterey and took a day trip to Caramel-by-the-sea and Big Sur. 

We hiked to some random private beach in Big Sur, went wine tasting in Caramel, Saw Pebble Beach (where all the rich and famous live), bar hopped with the locals and eat breakfast on a pier listening to the ocean. 

It was the perfect adventure with my favorite human. Here are all the amazing Film Scans I took of our adventure.
